Increased use of third-party cookies on Polish news sites
Poland was the only country (out of seven examined by the Reuters Institute) where the number of third-party cookies on news websites increased after the entry into application of the GDPR on May 25th – by 20%. According to the report, this is due to major increases in 4 of 29 Polish news sites examined. On average, the use of third-party cookies in the examined countries decreased by 22% – the highest, 45% drop was recorded in the UK.
